This extensive renovation project in Dunsborough involved a comprehensive overhaul of both internal and external spaces. Transitioning from a farm environment, the owners faced the challenge of adapting their outdoor needs to a residential setting with limited space. Privacy from neighbouring properties was paramount, while maintaining the ability to capture the ocean views from the front of the property was a key priority.
We designed the concrete swimming pool with an emphasis on minimizing pool fencing, thereby facilitating an unobstructed flow throughout the outdoor areas. This approach was complemented by a reimagined main entrance, creating an open and welcoming ambiance.
To accommodate year-round outdoor entertaining, we extended the existing alfresco area with multipurpose automated louvre structures, providing flexible spaces for lounging by the pool and outdoor cooking. The backyard, previously confined and lacking natural light, was revitalized by removing the existing covered spa area. This transformation introduced a new outdoor zone that not only enhances the functionality of the space but also incorporates much-needed storage.
