Denise Staffa
Owner + Principle Landscape Designer
Born in Wyndham, a remote town in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, I’ve always had a passion for Australian flora and our way of life. My journey into landscape design began in Perth, where I worked at a local nursery while studying Horticultural and a Diploma in Landscape Design at TAFE. In 1996, I started a garden maintenance business, which quickly expanded into landscaping construction and, eventually, design.
With extensive experience in project installation and budgeting, one of the greatest rewards as a landscape designer is the challenge of transforming a difficult site into something both beautiful and functional. When I’m not designing, I love exploring, enjoying adventures, pottering in my garden, cooking, long lunches, watching the sunset, and catching the sunrise. The bush, beach, my furry kids, my family, and my supportive lifelong partner are all close to my heart.
CAITLIN DENNIS
Landscape Designer + Consultant
Born in Jurien, Western Australia, Caitlin’s journey into landscape design began at Edith Cowan University, where she studied Environmental & Spatial Design and Horticulture online. In 2021, she relocated to Sydney, deepening her plant knowledge while working at a nursery before joining Adam Robinson’s Landscape Design. There, she gained valuable experience in high-end residential landscapes and managed the installation of her designs. Caitlin is known for her initiative, positivity, humour, and strong organisational skills.
As a landscape designer, I find immense satisfaction in creating outdoor spaces that are both functional and aesthetically in tune with their surroundings, offering homeowners year-round enjoyment. After five years in Sydney, I felt the pull to return home to Western Australia, where I reached out to Denise from Outside In. Since then, I’ve been collaborating on design projects, creating planting plans, and offering landscape design consultations. With strong family values, I naturally integrate outdoor spaces with home environments, believing that landscape design should take a holistic approach to creating lifelong memories with family and friends.
In my spare time, I love escaping to the outdoors, watching the sunrise, listening to country music, and nurturing my passion for growing flowers, with a dream of one day owning and operating a flower farm.

BLA + RLA + 3D Artist
Emmanuel is a young professional with over eight years of experience in local and international landscape design. His passion for gardening and landscaping began in childhood, nurtured by his family’s plant nursery supplying local landscapers. Emmanuel earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, passed the board exam, and is now a Registered Landscape Architect in the Philippines. While working for one of the top design firms, he honed his skills in creating quality landscape designs for diverse projects, handling multiple tasks with exceptional passion.
Growing up, I was drawn to gardening and landscaping through our family’s plant nursery. As my career progressed, my focus shifted to 3D modelling, which excites me as I love the process—like solving a jigsaw puzzle, piece by piece, until the picture is complete. With this passion, I created an online studio offering 3D rendering and visualisation services. I’ve crafted hundreds of 3D designs for designers across Australia and around the world. As a 3D artist and landscape architect, I’m dedicated to helping fellow designers bring their visions to life and visually communicate their designs to clients. Over the past five years of collaborating with Denise, I’ve married my lifelong partner and become a father to two beautiful children. Striking a balance between work and family is incredibly important to me, and it’s always a pleasure to bring Denise’s landscape designs to life.
Vedrana Komljenovic
MLA + 3D Artist
Vedrana holds a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, is a qualified Horticulturist, and resides in Belgrade, Serbia. With over 10 years of experience, she has earned a reputation for designing innovative and inspiring gardens for clients around the world. Vedrana’s expertise spans landscape design, 3D modelling, planting requirements, and hardscape materials. She constantly leverages advanced software technology to ensure a seamless remote 3D visualisation experience.
Passionate about leaving a positive ecological footprint, I understand the importance of cohesive landscape architecture. I’ve had the privilege of working on diverse projects across the globe—from residential and rural to hospitality and public spaces. The variety of landscapes, people, and cultures I encounter fuels my creativity, which I bring to life with my 3D modelling skills. I’ve collaborated with Denise at Outside In for over five years, and I love the process of transforming her landscape designs into stunning 3D artistic masterpieces.
When I’m not working, I’m busy being a mum to my gorgeous twin girls and a wife to my incredible husband, who also works in our landscape design business. We cherish summer, beach days, travelling, exploring new places, and creating beautiful memories together.
