This backyard was designed with an emphasis on lush layering, seamlessly integrating with the existing retaining walls, which we skillfully concealed using Dulux Natural White outdoor paint. A formed concrete bench seat with an integrated daybed was introduced, adding both functionality and a minimalist aesthetic.
A portion of the previously underutilized lawn has been reimagined as a family retreat, ideal for outdoor entertaining and relaxation. Addressing the safety concerns posed by the existing drop from the lawn to the alfresco area, we designed an outdoor booth seat with a custom-built raised planter box, finished in Axon cladding to harmonize with the overall design. Additionally, the timber bench seat was re-engineered for enhanced comfort, ensuring the space is both safe and inviting for the family.
